Kevin M. Pollack, Esq.
Mr. Pollack is a trial attorney who has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation and has prosecuted criminal cases as a Deputy City Attorney for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Kevin is known as a passionate litigator, for having strong tactical and technical skills at trial, and for being a people person. One key to his success is that he works in reverse – first learning the outcome his clients wish to accomplish, then working to develop the strategy necessary to achieve it.
Kevin has experience in a wide variety of civil practice areas including insurance coverage and extra contractual (bad faith) litigation, employment law, personal injury actions, consumer class actions, commercial litigation, and nursing home litigation to name a few. Kevin is extremely passionate about representing the interest of, and fighting for, victims. Kevin uses his passion to serve, advocate and litigate on behalf of the community.
Having previously represented insurance companies, Kevin has an in-depth understanding of how insurance companies interpret contracts, handle claims, and litigate cases. Kevin uses his knowledge of the insurance industry to help policyholders seek and obtain justice when their insurance companies leaves them high and dry. Kevin has extensive experience representing policyholders in claims involving property damage, liability insurance, title insurance, and disability insurance.
Kevin graduated cum laude from California Western School of Law in 2010. While in law school, he won first place in California Western’s Trial Motions Advocacy Competition and volunteered with Street Law San Diego where he worked with inner-city high school students and coached mock trial teams. Prior to law school, Kevin graduated with high honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving his B.A. in Philosophy and English Literature. Kevin gave his graduating class’ commencement speech and served the interests of the community while interning for the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s office.
When Kevin is not zealously advocating for his clients in the courtroom, he enjoys the competitive and collegial aspects of participating in team sports such as softball and basketball.
