Iris Kuhn is an attorney with the firm’s Tampa office. Her practice focuses primarily on
representing policyholders in first-party property and unfair claims settlement practices
litigation. While completing her law degree, Iris worked as a paralegal for William “Chip”
Merlin and learned a great deal of property insurance law prior to graduating.
Iris has assisted clients with property damage claims in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy
including litigation and trial. Working with hundreds of business and home owners recovering
following Superstorm Sandy reinforced her passion for this area of law. Prior to joining the firm,
she worked in various areas of law that included Family and Real Estate law.
A native of Albania, Iris moved with her family to New York in 2002 where she graduated from
City University of New York-John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2010.
She received her law degree from the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law
School in 2017. While at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, she was
awarded for distinction in Trial Skills.
Iris is admitted to practice before Florida’s state courts and is a member of the American Bar
