Biography
Kari Regan brings more than 20 years of civil litigation experience to Merlin Law Group, with a career built around navigating complex, high-stakes legal matters. Before joining the firm, she spent two decades primarily defending medical professionals in malpractice claims, along with related healthcare litigation, regulatory, and credentialing matters. That experience gave her an extensive understanding of litigation strategy and the many considerations that shape a case.
Kari earned her Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma State University and her Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she also earned a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Over the course of her career, she has distinguished herself not only through her legal work, but also through her commitment to the profession and the respect she has earned among her peers.
She holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest peer rating standard for professional excellence in legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards. Kari has also been named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honorary distinction limited to just 1% of licensed attorneys and recognizing those whose careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the legal profession and the principles it serves.
After two decades as a civil litigator, Kari made the decision to take her legal career in a new direction while remaining connected to the profession she had spent so many years serving. She now brings that breadth of experience and perspective to Merlin Law Group, contributing the insight of an attorney who has spent her career examining complex disputes, developing legal strategies, and approaching challenging issues from every angle.
