Stephanie Poli is an attorney who works tirelessly on behalf of policyholders in the insurance property realm. Prior to joining Merlin Law Group, Stephanie practiced business litigation, personal injury, insurance bad faith for uninsured motorists, mass torts, and class action. She has represented local companies in high-value contract disputes, people severely injured as a result of another’s negligence, and thousands of others in class action and mass tort lawsuits. Her goal at Merlin Law Group is to advocate on behalf of policyholders and hold insurance companies accountable, especially when claims have been wrongfully denied.
Stephanie was born and raised in Arizona and attended the University of Arizona on full scholarship, graduating magna cum laude from U of A. She attended law school at the University of California Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. She earned a Best Oral Argument Award in the Hastings Appellate Advocacy program, and further distinguished herself as the Executive Submissions Editor of the Hastings Business Law Journal. She was a member of the Hastings Trial Law Association and gained invaluable hands-on litigation experience as a legal advocate with the General Assistance Advocacy Project and Homeless Legal Services. While at Hastings, she found time to mentor other law students as a teaching assistant in both the Legal Writing & Research and Moot Court courses, and as a coach for the Richmond High School Mock Trial Program.
Stephanie is an active member of the American Association of Justice, Lawyers Club, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Bar, and the California State Bar.
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys exercising, especially boot camp and barre classes, sports, reading and re-reading classics, and spending time with friends, family, and her rescue dog, Alice.
