Biography
Michael Ponzo joined Merlin Law Group in 2018 and focuses his practice on representing first party commercial and residential property insurance claim disputes and bad faith insurance litigation. Michael represents policyholders who are forced to litigate against their insurance producer or insurance company, when they fail to meet their obligations to the policy holder or simply place their interests first.
Prior to joining Merlin Law Group, Michael worked as a plaintiff and defense attorney representing clients in a broad range of civil and contractual disputes. He entered the practice of law after spending more than twenty years in the Tech Industry, managing engineering, marketing, product development and business operations worldwide. Michael draws on his breadth of experience in advancing clients claims.
Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science Biomedical Engineering from Syracuse University. He received a Masters of Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and his Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University.
